Research Outline

To enable the high-density utilization of renewable energies, a novel ocean renewable energy floating system is being developed which contains a catenary moored triangle semi-submersible platform on which multiple wind turbines and solar panels are installed. A series of researches are being carried out to develop large Wind-Lens turbines, high-efficiency tidal current turbines, low-cost floating structures and reliable mooring systems.
